I like the blue bits at the top but I think you need to then incorporate the colours across the whole of the design, looks at it like that makes it really weird. I like the way everything looks although the imprint of 'Lateralus Project' at the bottom is way to dim. I think it should have some elements in the footer in blue, because it'd continue the theme.

In the header, I think 'Lateralus' should be aligned with the rest of the corners? And the top box is empty, but it's WIP. I like the way it got no capital letters, it looks nice on the design. Nice stuff, great improvement. :)

Duly noted :)

Obviously all the links and on/off icons will be blue to continue the theme.

I really only put it there as a kind of "zomg, i never noticed that" kinda thing. The opacity is set at 20% or something, just bring it up to 80% or something.

I don't know why, but the first thing that hits me is how small the 'Project News' title is. that really bugs me for some reason. I like the header, it flows into the rest of the design nicely, so does the footer. The menu bar is nice too, I like the red exclamation mark, but it's just a bit too standy-outy for me, but a great idea.

The boards are nice, but some separation would be nice, and I think you could label each on at the top... The bottom text like I said before is waaaay to low opacity. But nice, great work overall! ;D

You wont see the red bit unless you have a new PM. I hate how some sites you dont notice for days because the change isnt noticeable enough.

Hmm... Maybe getting rid of "project news" title all together.

So, seperate the boards into categories, and split?

You might wanna add a 1 pixel bevel to use as borders between the boards, just to help with the separation, without ruining the rest of the design.

If you dont read from the top left down, you defy psychology.

Actually psychology shows that when you read a document or a website, you start from reading at an area around the top left, but not the exact corner, then you focus goes around in a spiral, left and right, and then it's followed by the F pattern, I'll make a crappy diagram to show what I mean:

XD Yeah . . . I did research on eye focus on web pages before in an attempt to figure out the best ad positioning. In the end the results varied too much for different kinds of websites, so I just put the ads where the design gave space for them.

I think design websites should never have ad's. Your sacrificing your design for a few dollars a day.
